In the book "Tatar halyk ashlari" "Urama" is made with milk, but we add sour cream instead of milk, it turns out very tasty!
Ingredients:
5 eggs
100 gr sour cream
2 tbsp.
spoons of sugar salt
a pinch of soda flour
deep
-frying oil
Cooking:
Shake the eggs, add salt, sugar, sour cream, then flour with soda. Knead a stiff dough like dumplings.
Roll out 1.5-2 mm thick and cut into strips 3-4 cm wide.
Then take a rolling pin and wind the tape around the end of the rolling pin, and holding it so that it does not unwind, gently lower it into boiling oil, hold it better with a spoon or fork so as not to burn yourself. Adding oil to the dough, carefully pull out the rolling pin and fry the urama on both sides
I fry on a high heat or a little above medium, but not on a small one, otherwise the brushwood will absorb the oil and be greasy. The fried brushwood can be laid out on a paper napkin to glass the oil, then put on a dish.
Let cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
